Care that fits the passenger

Close the gap between here and there.

A well-planned shuttle makes the last part of a journey feel simple. It connects a parking lot to a front door, employees to a shift, guests to a venue, or residents to the services they use every day. Cathay works with your team to turn those connections into a clear operating plan.

We start with who is traveling, where they need to go, and when they need to arrive. From there, we discuss vehicle size, boarding needs, pickup locations, return trips, and the people responsible for communicating changes. A recurring program needs consistency; a one-time event needs careful coordination. Both begin with the details.

For employers, hotels, airports, schools, universities, healthcare providers, senior communities, event organizers, and public agencies. Vehicle configuration, equipment, and availability are confirmed for each program.

How we support your journey

A service plan that fits your operation.

Routes with a purpose

We discuss where passengers begin and end their journey, the connections they need to make, and the times that matter. Stop locations and travel times should work for the people using the service.

Capacity at the right times

A shift change, a class break, or the end of an event can bring many riders at once. Planning considers peak demand, boarding time, luggage, and mobility devices rather than seat count alone.

Clear day-to-day coordination

Agree on operating contacts, pickup instructions, and how schedule changes will reach passengers. For recurring programs, review feedback and changing demand with your team.

Find your connection

One shuttle service.
Many ways to use it.

Explore the options below, then talk with our team about the combination that fits your passengers and operation.

Passenger needs & vehicle sizes

Start with the people on board, then choose the configuration that fits.

Passenger Shuttle Bus+

A flexible connection for hotels, airport transfers, employees, and events. Plan around passenger demand, convenient pickup points, and the timing of each arrival and return.

Wheelchair-Accessible Shuttle Bus+

Accessible boarding and securement options for programs serving riders with mobility needs, including paratransit and non-emergency medical transportation. Discuss wheelchair positions, assistance, and accessible stops before confirming the vehicle.

Mini Shuttle Bus+

Typically considered for groups of about 8–15 passengers, smaller routes, and frequent short connections. Review the seating layout and storage needs alongside the number of riders.

Mid-Size Shuttle Bus+

Typically considered for about 16–30 passengers, including employee shifts, campus trips, and organized groups. Route frequency and boarding time help determine whether one vehicle or multiple departures work best.

Large Shuttle Bus+

Typically considered for about 30–40 or more passengers on higher-demand connections. Larger boarding areas, turning space, and peak arrival patterns become important parts of route planning.

Workplaces, travel & daily connections

Dependable links between the places people already need to reach.

Airport Shuttle Bus+

Connect airports with hotels, parking facilities, or terminals. Coordinate authorized pickup locations, flight-related timing, luggage needs, and clear instructions for arriving passengers.

Employee / Corporate Shuttle+

Connect offices, campuses, warehouses, and hospitals with transit stops or other designated pickup points. Build departures around shift changes, work schedules, and predictable return connections.

Hotel / Resort Shuttle+

Help guests move between accommodations, nearby destinations, and transportation hubs. Set a clear service area, pickup process, and schedule that front-desk staff can explain easily.

University / Campus Shuttle+

Link academic buildings, residences, parking, and nearby transit. Account for class changes, evening travel, campus access, and periods of concentrated demand.

Parking Lot Shuttle+

Bridge the distance between remote parking and a building, venue, or campus entrance. Consider walking distances, stop visibility, passenger queues, and how often vehicles need to circulate.

Schools, care & community

Thoughtful coordination for riders who may need more time or assistance.

School Shuttle / Mini School Bus+

Support student connections and special-needs transportation with school-appropriate vehicles and operating arrangements. Plan supervision, authorized handoffs, accessibility, and schedules with the school and family.

Senior Transportation Shuttle+

Connect senior centers, assisted living communities, and nursing facilities with outings, activities, and appointments. Allow for mobility devices, boarding assistance, and a clear return plan.

Medical Shuttle / NEMT Bus+

Coordinate non-emergency connections to hospitals, dialysis centers, clinics, and rehabilitation facilities. Review appointment windows, recurring schedules, and the appropriate level of transportation with the care team.

Paratransit Shuttle+

Support pre-arranged origin-to-destination or door-to-door connections for eligible passengers with disabilities. Eligibility, pickup windows, service boundaries, and assistance follow the applicable program.

Church / Community Shuttle+

Bring groups to worship, community programs, and shared activities. Establish familiar meeting points, accessible boarding arrangements, and a reliable plan for getting everyone home.

Events & specialized operations

Service shaped around a venue, a local network, or a particular operating requirement.

Event / Convention Shuttle+

Connect venues, hotels, and parking before, during, and after an event. Plan for concentrated arrivals, simultaneous departures, signage, and coordination with venue staff.

Transit / Circulator Shuttle+

Create a local fixed-route connection between community destinations and the wider transit network. Work through stop locations, public information, operating hours, and service frequency with the agency.

Electric Shuttle Bus+

For programs considering electric vehicles, evaluate route length, charging access, charging time, and daily operating demands together. Confirm available vehicles and infrastructure before establishing the service plan.

Executive / Luxury Shuttle Bus+

For guest, business, or hosted-group travel with specific comfort requirements. Discuss desired seating, luggage capacity, amenities, and presentation so the proposed vehicle matches the occasion.

Capacity ranges are planning guides. Seating, wheelchair positions, luggage space, vehicle type, and availability are confirmed for each program.

Before the journey

Let’s make a plan
that works for you.

Good transportation starts with a conversation.
Here’s what we’ll work through together.

Define the connection

Share your destinations, passenger counts, operating days, arrival deadlines, and expected peak periods. Include return journeys and accessibility needs from the start.

Build the service plan

We review stops, boarding space, vehicle capacity, round-trip time, and service frequency together. The plan should account for traffic, luggage, mobility devices, and staff or guest communication.

Prepare for day one

Confirm the schedule, meeting points, responsible contacts, and arrangements for delays or changes. For ongoing service, discuss how ridership and feedback will inform adjustments.

Can a shuttle run every day or just for one event?+

Both can be discussed. Tell us whether you need a recurring route, shift-based service, a seasonal schedule, or transportation for specific event dates. Our team will review the operating requirements and availability.

How many passengers can a shuttle carry?+

Mini shuttles are commonly planned for about 8–15 passengers, mid-size shuttles for about 16–30, and larger vehicles for about 30–40 or more. These are planning ranges, not a vehicle guarantee: accessible seating, luggage space, and the specific configuration affect usable capacity.

Can we arrange wheelchair-accessible service?+

Discuss wheelchair positions, boarding equipment, mobility devices, and the assistance riders need before service is arranged. Accessible shuttle planning should cover the pickup and destination environment as well as the vehicle.

Is a shuttle the same as public transit or paratransit?+

Shuttle describes a connection or operating pattern. A hotel or employee shuttle may serve a defined group; a public circulator may serve everyone on a published route. Paratransit operates under its own eligibility, reservation, and assistance rules. We help clarify which service model fits your program.

Can we request an electric or executive shuttle?+

Yes, you can include those requirements in your inquiry. Vehicle availability, amenities, charging arrangements where applicable, and operating suitability must be reviewed before we confirm a program.
